Terms of Service

1. What RentDera is

RentDera is a rent-management tool for landlords: track properties and units, assign tenants, generate monthly dues, record payments, and share receipts and reminders. It is a record-keeping and communication tool. It does not process rent payments, does not hold funds on anyone's behalf, and does not act as a party to any lease or tenancy agreement.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• RentDera accounts are for landlords and property managers, not tenants.

3. Your responsibilities

You're responsible for the accuracy of the property, tenant, lease, and payment information you enter, and for how you use it. RentDera does not review or verify what you enter. You agree to:

• Only enter tenant information you're lawfully allowed to collect and use.
• Comply with the tenancy, rent, and data-protection laws that apply to you — RentDera doesn't provide legal advice and using it doesn't guarantee compliance with any law.
• Not use the app for anything illegal, or to harass, defraud, or mislead anyone.

4. Payments happen outside the app

Rent is paid by a tenant to a landlord directly, using whatever method they already agree on. RentDera records that a payment was made and generates a receipt — it does not transmit, hold, or guarantee any payment. We are not responsible for a payment that is never actually made, disputed, or reversed outside the app; that's between you and your tenant.

If RentDera introduces a paid subscription for landlord accounts, that purchase is billed and managed through the app store you installed RentDera from (Google Play Billing), and is subject to that store's own terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the app or its backend services.
• Use the app to store or transmit data you don't have the right to share.
• Attempt to access another account or organization's data.

6. Availability and changes

RentDera is under active development. Features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or due to factors outside our control. We may add, change, or remove features as the app evolves.

7. Disclaimer of warranty

RentDera is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. You're responsible for backing up anything you can't afford to lose and for verifying your own financial records independently.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Notils is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of RentDera, including disputes between you and a tenant, or reliance on data recorded in the app.

9. Termination

You can stop using RentDera and request deletion of your account at any time — see Account & Data Deletion. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless a different jurisdiction is required by applicable law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the app changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page whenever we do, and for material changes, we'll let you know in the app.
